MISSION OPPORTUNITY
Dear Friends,
We are in the process of shipping a 40 feet container to Liberia West Africa. Please take a moment and read the list, check to see what items you might have or whatever the Lord impress on your heart to assist us make this shipment. We are a 501©3 non-profit organization. Your contribution is completely tax deductible.
We are urgently in need of computers, (new or used), to set up a computer laboratory for the beginning of the next school year. These computers will help accelerate the rehabilitation process of some of the thousands of young people that were affected during the war. Currently there are approximately 500 student attending our school, Diversified Skills Training Academy, which ranges from pre-k to 12th grade located in Paynesville, Monrovia, Liberia West Africa. The school is an academic and vocational institution.
We will appreciate the opportunity to come to your church or organization to elaborate on our ministry, and the wonderful work God is doing through us, at you request.
SCHOOL MATERIALS AND SUPPLIES: computers, typewriters, pens, Pencils, books, crayons, chalks, sewing machines, school bus, playground equipments and Supplies, swings electric generator camcorder ect.
TRAINING MATERIALS FOR THE STAFF: computers, typewriters, microphones, projectors, copiers, printers, papers, pads, Camcorder ect.
BUILDING MATERIALS FOR CLINIC UNDER CONSTRUCTION: shovels, wheel barriers, electrical supplies (wires, plugs, sockets, bulbs ect) carpentry tools (levels, squares, hand saws, ect) kitchen and bathroom sinks, zincs, paints electric generators, dump-truck, ect
PERSONAL HYGIENE: soap, rubbing alcohol, over the counter medicine (Tylenol Aspirin, band aid cough cold headache medicine ect)
ORPHANAGE: non-perishable food (rice, flour, sugar, cereal can food etc) (clothes (summer only) over the counter medication, bibles,
SPORTING SUPPLIES FOR THE STUDENTS: Basketball Uniforms, Basketballs, soccer uniforms and balls (male and female) kickball and valley ball uniforms (male and female) ping-pong board bats and nets, soccer and track shoes, tennis shoes.
TRANSPORTATION: van, bus, motor circle, bikes any drivable vehicle. Most the faculties and students walk miles to and from work and school everyday.
CHURCH SUPPLIES: microphones, Sunday school materials, bibles, song books, choir robes, projector musical instruments, camcorder etc.
MEDICAL EQUIPMENT FOR THE CLINIC: x- ray machine, laboratory equipment, beds, ambulance whatever, that is usable in a clinic will be greatly appreciate.
SCHOOL AND OFFICE FURNITURE : desks, chairs, file cabinets, shelves, tables.
As you read this list we pray that the Lord speak to your heard to make this shipment to Liberia a reality. We are seeking volunteers who will like to make a Mission Trip to Liberia. We believe this will be a life changing experience.
