Who we are

The Diversified Christian Ministries International is a non-denominational Bible Teaching Christian organization. The organization began with a bible teaching church, a food program that ministered to feeding the hungry in the community, in the Phoenix metro area. As part of the ministry, there is an existing school ranging from pre- k to 12th grade, and a church currently operating in Paynesville, Liberia West Africa.

The ministry was given birth in early 2002. Pastor T. J. Spencer, a Liberian born who live in the United States for about twenty years, has worked in several capacities. This includes  school teacher, insurance agent, D.U.I. and defensive driving instructor. In 1995 he became a full time real estate investor, in the Atlanta Georgia area. The thirteen thousand square feet building is now being converted a school with more then five hundred student currently attending. He move to Phoenix Arizona in 2000 along with his wife Sophia, and his four months old daughter Emily Anne. His desire was become a real estate tycoon in Phoenix. But it seems like God had a complete different plan for his life. Life became very unpleasant and difficult. Every effort he made to succeed in the real estate career, was just not working. Be begin to lost everything. He couldn’t even fine a suitable job to sustain him and his family.

It was at this point he realized that God has a specific calling for his life. He began to listen and be sensitive to the voice of God. He finally humbled himself to the voice of God and rededicated his life to God during the summer of 2001. The pastor became excited about God. He couldn’t keep his mouth shout. He began to share the goodness of God, and started preaching in churches whenever he had the opportunity. He was ordained in the West Valley Assembly of God Church, in Goodyear, Arizona, in November 2001 by Dr. Ron Hembree of Cornerstone TV.

In January 2002, the Lord impressed on his heart to start a diversified church. The goal of the church was to win souls, for Christ and to create an atmosphere where the body of Christ can worship together regardless of race, culture or ethnicity.

The ministry had a tremendous impact on the in the lives of the people in the Phoenix and El Mirage areas. In June 2002, he appeared before the El Mirage city council urging them to realize the importance of acknowledging God, and the great need for spiritual revival in the city.

During the thanksgiving and Christmas seasons, the ministry gave away hundreds of sandwiches to the homeless and pray for them, in the El Mirage and Phoenix areas. Hundreds of turkeys were given to needy family during the thanksgiving of 2003.
